DOUBLE TALK

I wake up with a start and my head is pounding like Rage Against The Machine is having a concert in between my two ears and has invited the whole of Frankston to party. I’m battered, bruised and bloody, and I realize I am sitting down on a wooden rocking chair with my hands tied up behind my back.

In front of me are two rare breed of rat goons straight out of a Martin Scorsese movie, Gustav and Herod the Hedgehog, two monkeys that fell out of the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down and landed on their faces. Apparently I owe these jokers money. Great, just great.

It’s at this moment that I hear a voice in my head asking me where the hell am I. I figure it’s my subconscious playing tricks on me but the thing is my subconscious sounds an awful lot like my girlfriend Stacey Peruzzi. Gustav asks me where his $2000 is and punctuates his question with a punch in my guts. My subconscious asks me why do I sound like I am crying like a little girl at a Robbie Williams concert. That doesn’t sound like something my mind would say.

Then it hits me like a Muhammad Ali right hook. That isn’t my freaking subconscious, it’s my girlfriend talking to me on my Philips Bluetooth Headset, the damn bud in my ear is so small these Neanderthals haven’t even noticed it.

Me: Call the Police!

Gustav: Why the hell would we call the Police?

Stacey: Did you crash your car into a 7-11 again? (sounding amazingly clear)

Me: No, I need help! I am at the Butcher with these… butchers!

Herod the Hedgehog: I think the pretty boy here done lost his marbles Gustav.

Stacey: Johnny are Frankie’s boys roughing you up again? How much money do you owe them this time?

Me: I don’t want to die baby! I want to live! I think they chipped one of my teeth! I just got these crowned!

Gustav: Did you just call me a baby you pansy!?

Stacey: I’m coming sweetie, I’m coming, ask them to hold their horses.

Gustav and Herod look at me in disgust the way someone with an IQ of 69 would look at George W. Bush. I sigh in relief.

The audio signal is transferred wirelessly as a digital signal and is only converted to analog in the device itself. This means that interference noise has less influence on the sound quality than with analog technologies. The sound playback will be true to the orignal recording and sound source.

A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) compliance enables this headset to receive stereo music from any Bluetooth device that is A2DP compliant. Bluetooth HSP/HFP compliant
