The Last Chaotic Run

I fall face first onto the floor with the alarm blaring in the background, then rolling around frantically like a fish out of water I manage to spill the glass of cold water on the side table on my head. This wakes me up completely. Gasping for air I get a look at the clock. Oh no, I am late for work! I’m not even home, I knew I shouldn’t have done it but I stayed over at my girlfriend Stacey Peruzzi’s apartment again.
Frantically I jump up while Stacey is still stirring in bed. Rushing to the shower I manage to doze myself with another shot of ice water leaving me screaming like a Milli Vanilli comeback tour. After performing this ancient form of torture on myself I scramble out of the shower looking for my pants while I put my shirt on. I find it draped over the living room fan (don’t ask), after a few frantic jumps I manage to get it down. Then hopping around in one leg I try to put it on. Stacey shuffles into the kitchen and starts making coffee; she looks at me and shakes her head at my attempts.
It’s at this moment while I’m jumping around like a competitor in a sack race and asking Stacey if she’s seen my wallet that Stacey’s cat Picasso chooses to rush across my path sending me stumbling into a book rack. I fall heavily on my back while I am pelted with heavy editions of Plato, Sartre, Hume, and Nietszche. These heavy books rain on me like a hailstone from hell. How I wish Stacey would read some soft comics once in awhile. Ironically the wallet was on the rack and I find it resting on my chest.
Crawling out of that pile of excruciating knowledge I pull myself up to my feet. Stacey looks at me like the way Charlton Heston looked at the Statue of Liberty in Planet of the Apes. I apologize quickly and ask her of she’s seen my hand phone now. She mumbles something about trying the couch while she comes and starts clearing up my mess.
Digging through the couch like a dwarven explorer I manage to find my iPod that I lost week ago, my missing wrist watch which I had given up on, one Mont Blanc fountain pen which Stacey gave me for a birthday two years ago but no sign of my hand phone. I am close to giving up on it when Stacey says she found it on the kitchen top. I grab it, give her a quick kiss and fly out of the house like a level 5 tornado destroying everything in my path. This kind of thing happens more than it should and I also forgot to take my coffee.
A week later and the exact same thing happens, I wake up startled with the alarm blaring, find I am at Stacey’s place, and start to scramble when I notice something stunning.
