Sometimes at the turn of the witching hour when not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse, you would see a shadow dart by in a flash of darkness across the bedroom door, down the stairs pitter pattering lightly like a river dancer, across the living room like a whisper, through the dining room like a gust of silence, and then in a sudden hail of hushed swiftness there would appear in front of the kitchen door a figure of untold mystery.
What did the shadowy figure from the sinister recesses of this dark night want? What untold need lead the enigmatic enigma of the eclectic night to appear at this very turn of the clock in front of this very spot? What untoward manner of compulsion lead his dark hand at this dark hour? The answer perhaps lay in the fridge in which he stood in front of. The same fridge which he now slowly yet deliberately and with great conviction pulled open now revealing at first a crack of light and then a blinding effulgence of illumination which at first blinded everything that looked that way.
When your eyes adjusted to that sudden increase in lumination you would see the same figure now rummaging in the fridge, seeking something for which only when found would stop his unceasing search.
Perhaps it would be the remains of last night’s roast chicken packed neatly in a Vacuum Sealer Pro, keeping the food tightly and freshly packed, leaving the food fresh for longer, maintaining its taste and zest, sealing in the flavor and nutrients one would only expect to taste when it was first prepared.
