CEO Update - June

Wow. Another month is over and, both personally and for the business, it was the best month of the year.

I’ve just spent 3 weeks in South Africa watching 12 games of the Soccer World Cup; this was one of my lifelong dreams which I have now ticked off my list with a huge grin on my face.

Business wise, June has also been our best month of the year so far, which tells me that they don't really need me in the building as much I thought. :)

I suppose you could say that a soccer team and a work team have a lot in common.

Have a look at England, France and Italy’s World Cup teams - world powers with some of the most talented individual players, but for many unknown reasons simply could not play as a team this year.

The Catchoftheday team on the other hand, I am proud to say is more like Ghana or Uruguay – we play (and work – but it’s all good fun) with our hearts! We currently have just over 40 team members, and the mood in the office is unbelievable. It’s a great place to work, and I am proud of every single member of our team. Everyone puts in 100% day after day, and the results speak for themselves.
