Alright settle down! We've had a few adventures together on this site, for example yesterday's super marked down Panasonic phone combo. But this, this is something else. When I heard the offering price of this baby, I literally choked on my coffee. Good news I'm mostly unharmed but still seriously shaken by the experience. Some of the jokers in the sales team (they must be a bunch of jokers judging on their pricing), walk past my desk every now and then and scream "TOSHIBA HD SET TOP BOX $99" and it still sends a shiver down my spine. Alright that's not really true, but I have a tendency to get pretty melodramatic with the big deals, and this is no exception. These units are *renewed* but in perfect condition.

Like many of you I've had Digital HD TV in the back of my mind for some time now, but never really found a good quality brand name product to begin the experience with. Today we bring you the chance to finally foray into the brilliant world of High Definition television, with a Toshiba branded box, for peanuts. Even those HD veterans who settled for an inferior product can now upgrade to brand name quality.

The unit comes with a comprehensive set of input and output options (It can basically act as the centre of your home theatre setup), with Dolby digital surround sound pumped out by the onboard 6 channel amplifier. Some nice features include being able to watch more than one channel with "Picture in Picture", full spec HD 1080i widescreen picture (that's DVD quality) and its of course bundled with a full spec remote control. A glance at the feature/spec set reveals the unit is not intended to just be your digital receiver but indeed the center piece of your setup.

Isn't it about time you entered the world of digital TV? If you are interested I suggest you make your move ASAP. Today we were caught in a flood of emails asking for more Panasonic phones , but the early bird catches the worm; don't say I didn't warn you!
